SmartStrand

Mohawk’s commitment to quality, durability, and sustainability led them to create SmartStrand, a stain-resistant, exceptionally durable product made in part from renewable plant-based strands.  For over 17 years, Mohawk has been carpeting homes across the country and keeping them looking good with their stain and spill protection known as SmartStrand.  There are a few Smartstrand samples below, but with over 70 styles and many colors in each style, it’s a good idea to see it for yourself.

Everstrand

Mohawk’s Everstrand line of carpeting is a polyester strand of product made of nearly 100% post-consumer material.  In a word, it’s recycled!  Billions of plastic bottles have been diverted from landfills to their manufacturing facilities in order to create a durable product which is quite easy to keep clean.  Their aim is to make their products make a difference in the world by creating beautiful carpet while helping to conserve resources and clean up our land. There are hundreds of options to choose from in the Everstrand collection.  We’ve included a few samples below, but it’s always best to see and feel it in person.

Ultrastrand

Mohawk’s nylon line of plush carpets feel great under your feet while helping keep the indoor air clean.  It’s green label plus certified, which means that it releases very low volatile organic compounds into the air, helping to keep your indoor air as healthy as possible.
